It is an outcome of the Lift A Sister global network, dedicated to inspire women to triumph. It was founded by Dr. Juma Nashon and Rev. Dorcas in the year 2012 as a prayer gathering and fellowship with a focus on the biblical character of Esther, hence the name Esther's Banquet Summit {EBS}. With time this program has evolved to be a global movement that meets spiritual, emotional and socio-economic needs of both women, children, youths and men in the society.
The primary goal of EBS is to preserve destinies of individuals, families and nations by creating a supportive environment for growth and empowering women, youths and men to be transformational agents in the society. EBS has grown from a village and community forum into a global platform inspiring women, youth and men globally. Mentorship programs that focus on life skills, leadership, entrepreneurship, humanitarian assistance and socio-economic development have been crafted in context of needs in various countries. Among the key activities of the EBS initiative includes the Global Virtual Summit that runs alongside the annual EBS Royal Conference.
Another initiative is Unlock Her treasure for teen and single mothers’ empowerment.
We have the EBS Uganda chapter that has steadily been growing and expanding her influence across the East African countries with same goal and similar initiatives of empowerment. Our Directors in each EBS chapter work hand in hand with the EBS president to effectively execute the mandate. We have partners and mentees from over 25 countries who are beneficiaries and partners to this program.
